Pre-purchase Report

IDENTIFY ANY EXISTING BUILDING DEFECTS OR ISSUES

Pre-purchase Report

Buying a property is an exciting experience, especially once you’ve found a property you’d like to call home. A pre-purchase building inspection is a report carried out prior to sealing the deal and buying a property. It’s purpose is to identify any existing building defects or issues that may require repair, impact the value of the building and determine whether you proceed with the purchase.

Our experienced inspector will determine the condition of the building by comparing it with those of a similar age and build. The report will provide an overall summary and rating for your review, detailing the following.

Our Report Covers

  • Future maintenance and repairs
  • Rising damp and plumbing leaks (including history of visible repairs)
  • Termite damage and timber decay
  • Cracks and damage to external walls and brickwork
  • Roof tiles and ceiling condition
  • Ventilation and drainage
